As the Planning Director and Treasurer for Awakening, I served as the operational and creative engine of the organization. I was responsible for the strategic roadmap, financial stewardship, and the digital brand identity for both weekly gatherings and large-scale worship events. By integrating systematic administrative workflows with high-impact visual storytelling, I ensured that our community engagement goals were met with professional execution and a sustainable budget.
 

Context

Awakening required a leader who could manage the delicate balance between rigorous operational logistics and the creative vision needed to engage a modern student audience. The organization needed to scale from weekly prayer meetings of 10-30 attendees to flagship semester-end worship events attracting 70+ participants. My challenge was to establish a professional administrative infrastructure that could support this growth without overwhelming the leadership team.

  • Visual Identity Design: Designed high-impact promotional assets including worship night posters, stickers, and digital slides to ensure a cohesive visual theme for every event.

  • Social Media Engagement: Produced high-energy Reels to humanize the organization and drive weekly turnout. I also managed community announcements via KakaoTalk and Open Chat to maintain real-time engagement.

2. Agile Team Leadership & Meeting Facilitation

  • Meeting Facilitation: Prepared detailed weekly agendas and led administrative meetings to ensure every team member was aligned with the semester roadmap.
  • Decision-Traceable Minutes: Drafted comprehensive meeting minutes that tracked the reasoning behind every conclusion, creating a searchable archive for future leadership.

  • Task Splitting & Delegation: Instead of broad requests, I split complex projects into smaller, bite-sized tasks with a first-come-first-served selection process to ensure fair workloads based on team members' individual capacities.

3. Financial Stewardship & Resource Optimization

  • Budget Management: Monitored the collection of monthly dues and approved all spending and reimbursements to ensure the organization’s long-term financial health.
  • Strategic Alignment: Directly oversaw the Financial Tracking & Reimbursement System, ensuring that advertising and promotional costs remained within our fiscal limits.
